standard production saloons to single seaters, and are divided into classes by
engine capacity and level of modification. ADMC currently run four Sprint events at two different venues each year. Each double header is held over two days, one in July at Grampian Kart Club, Boyndie Drome by Banff, and the second at Grampian Transport Museum, Alford in October. |

HILLCLIMBS
Very similar to Sprints, but as the word implies these timed events run over an Up-hill course of varying, gradients and corners to test a driver's skill of control at speed. Hillclimb dates can
be found on the Scottish Sprinting website.

Getting
Started in Sprinting.
You must be at least 16 years old. You need: 1. to join a
motorsport club such as ADMC 2. a Competition Licence issued by the MSA (minimum requirement-Non Race National B) 3. an
approved crash helmet with the minimum British Safety Standard BS6658-85 Type A
(Buy the best you can afford – please note Type B is no
longer acceptable: NEW NOTE:Type BS6658 85 Type A are due to be withdrawn from January 1st
2010 and will be replaced with Type BS6658 58 Type A/FR ) and flame resistant overalls conforming to FIA 8856-2000 or
FIA 1986 Standard Snell SA2000 Helmets may be withdrawn from 1st January 2010 4. A car complying with the MSA
